We live in this world of social media and liking people’s statuses or pictures and following accounts that interest us; however, what does it mean when you follow someone or like someone’s comment and/or status? Most of the time if I giggled at it, I’m liking it or commenting with the crying laughing face.
Most mornings the first thing I do (after snoozing my alarm) is check social media. I know there is some crazy statistic that most people check their phones very first thing in the morning, and I believe it! We are driven by this feeling that we have to know what’s happening after the eight hours we’ve been sleeping.
I check e-mail, twitter, and instagram first thing in the morning. What do you check first thing when you wake up?
I love these teacher and media specialist/librarian instagram accounts, and I highly recommend following them if you haven’t! I get so many ideas on social media for my own students and media program from these great teachers and media specialists!
